Thank you for your interest in The Edge. We are excited to have your family join us for the 2025-2026 Club year. Below are the Information of the club that your family will need to thoroughly read and complete to Join our Speech and Debate Club.
Club Information


Eligibility
Junior Competitor must be between 8 and 11 of competition season.
Competitors must be between 12 and 18 years old on September 1st of the competition season.
Homeschoolers and private-schooled students are eligible to join and compete.
(Contact our club if you have any question there are some exceptions)
We compete with the NCFCA and STOA. Families need to affiliate with the league at ncfca.org or Stoausa.org
Families must read and agree with the Statement of Faith and position statements NCFCA and STOA.
Meeting
Junior Speech (ages 8-11) meets every other
Friday 2:00-4:00 pm.
Varsity Speech (12-18) meets every
Friday 2:00-4:30 pm
Debate research (ages 12-18) meets every
Friday 4:30-6:00 pm.

Commitment
Parents Responsibility
Register as a family affiliate with NCFCA or STOA.
If a junior-only family, affiliate first, then ask for a scholarship and list “Junior only family” as a reason.
